Tommasi hillside vineyards in the Valpolicella Classico area. Altitude: 290-330 m., Exposure south /south-west; clayey loam of volcanic origin.
Grapes
Corvina, Rondinella, Oseleta, Merlot.
Alcohol
13% vol.
Vinification
The wine is aged for 12 months in Slavonian oak casks.
Tasting Notes
The color is intense, deep ruby red. Flavours of crushed black raspberry, black cherry, plum compote, dried herbs and mulling spice. The taste is full body , juicy, spicy red with a riding creamy palate and a long, refined finish.
Recommended with
White and red meats, game, fresh and aged cheeses.
